Programs such as this one were distributed to the 400 guests who witnessed the wedding ceremony between Tricia Nixon and Edward Cox on June 12, 1971. Nixon was the daughter of President Richard M. Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon. Held in the Rose Garden, it was the first outdoor wedding ceremony to take place at the White House. To view the complete program, see 1127086. This program is part of a personal collection belonging to former White House Executive Chef Henry Haller. As executive chef from 1966-1987, Haller oversaw catering for three weddings at the White House: for first daughters Luci Baines Johnson, Lynda Bird Johnson, and Tricia Nixon.
